According to a reliable source (Stephanie's Mom), Stephanie has been telling tales her entire life.  At age 3 she would draw pictures and tell her mother what to write.  Her first "book" was about the exciting adventures of an apple and a worm. 

It helped greatly once she entered kindergarten and actually learned how to write.
